Claes Oldenburg

Nel 1961 Oldenburg inaugurò all’interno del suo studio uno spazio espositivo che chiamò The Store, lo stesso nome di un ambiente che aveva recentemente presentato. Nell’estate del 1964 Oldenburg lavorava a Parigi, dove realizzò una serie di sculture per una mostra inaugurata in ottobre alla Galerie Sonnabend.
