David Weiss and Peter Fischli

  • 1946
    –2012

Both born in Zurich, Peter Fischli and David Weiss began their collaboration in 1979. For three decades they developed a multi-faceted oeuvre that commented with humor on the most banal aspects of contemporary life. Made with the broadest range of materials and techniques, including clay, polyurethane, photography and video, their works playfully and sarcastically ignore the distinction and the gap between art and everything else.
